certified in The Webster Technique

Enhancing Pregnancy Wellness with the Webster Technique

At Well Adjusted Chiropractic, we deeply understand the significance of chiropractic care during pregnancy, when everything is shifting and changing, which is why we are Webster Certified. The Webster Technique was developed specifically to have a profound impact on both the mother's and the baby's well-being by balancing the pelvis so a baby can have the best positioning.

Understanding the Webster Technique

This technique embodies a meticulous chiropractic analysis and a customized adjustment approach. Our goal is to balance the pelvic bones, muscles and ligaments. By doing this we provide a better environment for the baby.

The Benefits

We recognize the pivotal role chiropractic care plays in pregnancy, and our dedication to the Webster Technique underscores our commitment to ensuring the holistic wellness of both mother and baby. At Well Adjusted Chiropractic, we're here to support your journey through pregnancy with specialized care that prioritizes your comfort and health. We did it for our own growing family, and appreciated the positive impact.

Sacral subluxation may contribute to challenging labor (dystocia) by impacting uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby mal-presentation. Through correcting these subluxations, we aim to positively influence these factors associated with dystocia, promoting a smoother birth experience.

The History

Dr. Larry Webster developed the Webster Technique in response to his daughter, Lucinda's birth to her daughter, Shannon. Dr. Webster was present at her long and arduous birth and although he adjusted her during the birth, he felt that chiropractic could have a bigger impact in labor with a more specific approach to the pelvis.

After this personal experience with his daughter’s birth, Dr. Webster strove to develop an adjustment “for laboring women to help with the ease of birth." He felt that there must be a more specific way of addressing subluxations throughout pregnancy that would contribute to safer, easier births for the mother.

Our Mission

For people to get well and stay well (adjusted), and we believe a healthy family centers around a healthy mom.
